About us

Our History

CoCreate develops flexible CAD and collaborative PLM applications that enable manufacturers to take advantage of changes in supply chains and markets, adapt to new opportunities and create sustained top line growth.

A brief history

We began 15 years ago as a division of Hewlett-Packard developing 2D and 3D CAD software for design engineers. Our 3D CAD technology is based on what we call “dynamic modeling,” an approach to CAD that makes creating and changing models significantly simpler for engineers than any other CAD software. After developing our CAD technology, we extended our scope by developing data management products to help companies manage complex design data.

In the mid-1990s we became a wholly owned subsidiary of Hewlett-Packard, and in 2000, we broke ties completely and became an independent entity.

Where we are today

We continue to lead the industry in flexible CAD and data management software, but we have recently emerged as pioneers in the growing field of collaborative PLM. Our PLM applications help manufacturers bridge the information and communication gaps across the supply chain, streamline inter-company engineering processes and provide access to critical data.

We are a privately held company that can be found in more than 30 countries. We have over 300 employees around the world and development labs in Sindelfingen, Germany and Fort Collins, Colorado.
